Ha, two years the big shock was Tevez and Mascherano moving to West Ham on transfer deadline, looks like this year, Manchester City pulled off the coup of the season so far. Robinho! gg.
I believe Robinho can finally show his true potential at Man City. He would get first team football without question. Him on the left, Wright-Philips on the right. That's the best wing combination in the league imo. Arsenal and Liverpool don't have real wingers. Chelsea uses J. Cole as a "winger". Man Utd have the aging Giggs and injured Cris Ron - who is an awesome footballer but isn't a traditional winker. I mean winger.
Man City also pulled off Vincient Kompany, and we all remember buying him in our Championship Manager games since he came onto the scene at 17 years old. Kompany, Richards, Ben-Haim, Zabaleta. That's an impressive backline. Probably only back four with the bigger names on paper are those at Chelsea. In mid-field, they have the impressive Elano and inflential Ireland. And I've been impressive with Johnson as well. Add SWP and Robinho to the wings.
Up front they have Jo and Sturridge. And that is when Benjani, Vassel and the luckless Bojinov are injured.
It's only too bad they sold Corluka. But I guess it's who they have, not who they haven't. If Man City can get their team to gel together quickly, they could easily be the team to watch this term!
