The second game of the group stages is kicking off in about 15 minutes with host Germany taking on Poland.
After watching all teams play for at least once this World Cup season, I can put forward my predictions with a bit more accuracy. I think it would be a predictable, if not comfortable, 2-0 win.
I just watched a thrilling 2-2 draw between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia, but somehow I think the World Cup needs better English commentators. I don't know who was commentating on the previous match, but we definitely needed more exciting commentators. Saudi Arabia played much better than the team I saw got whacked 8-0 by Germany 4 years ago, and I think they deserved to win had it not been for a last grasp header by Bolton defender Jaidi.
Spain provided the best attacking display so far this tournament in terms of goals and domination with a thumping 4-0 win over Ukraine. Czech came close with their razor-passing and clinical finishing, but switched off after their comfortable 3-0 win. Spain continued to attack, and the huge goal difference might prove to be Ukraine's undoing in getting to the next round.
Anyway, the game is about to begin. Feel free to comment and tip on the blog!
