Quick Tips

I haven't been blogging because I had two exams in a row. Well, I'll just drop my quick tips before heading off to my exam venue:

Ghana vs USA...
I would go for a narrow Ghanian win to book their place in the round of 16. Odds on bet365.com are pretty good with a 2.09 for a Ghanian win. My call: Ghana.. 2-1

Czech vs Italy...
Tough call with both sides so erratic. Italy might just see this one through though given the injuries the Czechs have been having. My call: 0-1 Italy.

Croatia vs Australia...
Many Aussies would disagree with me, but I don't think Australia can pull this one off. It would probably be the biggest upset of the World Cup which has so far proven to have lack of upsets. The Croatians played well against Brazil. But poorly against the Japanese. We shall see which team appears today. But on the assumption that it was the heat that made their play against Japan lacklustre, then we should see the Croats like how they played against Brazil. Then, Australia would be in for a defeat. My call: 2-0 to Croatia.

Brazil vs Japan...
The biggest upset? I don't think so. Though Brazil have already qualified, I think they would still dispatch Japan with ease. But given the fact that they are already through, they might be a bit laclustre in going forward. My call: Brazil (comfortably) 2-0..
